Click2Login Launches Auth Migration Service for Engineering Teams
A specialist engagement helps product engineering teams move off hosted auth providers in weeks rather than quarters, with a small SDK and a clear sunset plan for the legacy stack.
May 5, 2026. Click2Login today announced the public launch of its auth migration service at click2login.com. The service is built for engineering teams whose hosted authentication bill has outgrown the value the provider returns, and who would rather hand the migration to a small team that has done it before than burn an internal quarter on the project.
The Click2Login engagement covers the parts of an auth migration that engineering leads consistently underestimate, including password handling and rehashing strategy, MFA and recovery flow design, customer-by-customer SSO migration for enterprise tenants, parallel-running cutovers with explicit rollback criteria, and a sunset plan that actually closes the legacy provider account at the end.
"Auth migrations are not technically hard, but they are operationally unforgiving," a Click2Login representative said. "The cost of a bad migration is paid by the customer who cannot log in tomorrow. We exist so that bill never lands on a customer's desk."
Engagements are scoped as fixed projects rather than open-ended retainers, with explicit deliverables, a defined cutover plan, and a small SDK provided to the customer team to own the result after the migration completes. The service does not lock customers into Click2Login infrastructure once the project is done.
Click2Login is accepting new engagements effective immediately and is prioritizing teams whose existing auth bill has reached a level where a planned migration is preferable to another year of incremental cost.
